Provision of Cleaning, Hygiene, Pest Control and Waste Disposal/Management Services at SAWS Head Office and Irene Weather Office

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) invites bids for the provision of cleaning, hygiene, pest control, and waste disposal/management services at its Head Office and Irene Weather Office for a period of 21 months, commencing 01 February 2027 until 31 October 2028. This appointment aims to maintain a healthy, safe, and productive environment while extending the lifespan of the properties.To be eligible, bidders must attend both compulsory briefing sessions. Only service providers registered with an Official Cleaning Association Body governing cleaning services will be considered, and must be in good standing with the Department of Labour, providing proof of UIF payments not older than 6 months. Bidders must also provide two contactable reference letters from corporate clients for cleaning services rendered. For pest control services, a certified supplier with registration under the Fertilizers, Farm Feeds, Agriculture Remedies and Stock Remedies Act (Act No 36 of 1947) as a registered pest control operator is required. Bidders must score 70% or more in the functional evaluation to qualify for further evaluation.
