Scope of Work
This Request for Quotations is for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of AWOS (Automated Weather Observing System) equipment, accessories, and a software upgrade at OR Tambo International Airport. The new system must be compatible with the existing Vaisala AviMet® System and adhere to ICAO ANNEX 3 amendments and OEM guidelines, providing meteorological data for Air Traffic Control and national networks. The project duration is 6 months.
Bidders must submit all mandatory returnable documents, including a completed Form of Offer and NEC Contract, SBD 4 & 6.1 forms, Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement, valid B-BBEE certificate/affidavit, Tax Pin, CSD report, and ACSA Terms & Conditions. A minimum functionality threshold of 80 out of 100 points, based on bidder resources (qualifications and experience) and references, must be achieved for price and preference evaluation.
