Airside Fence Maintenance and Repairs at Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport (cdsia)

This tender is for the procurement of services for fence repairs and maintenance required at Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport (CDSIA) on an as-when-required basis for a period of 36 months. The scope includes repairing rigid wire mesh fence panels (100 m²), razor wire coil (300 m), supplying and installing steel posts casted in concrete footings, recoating exposed steel, welding fence steel columns and gates, repairing main gates, greasing and testing mechanical gates, repairing fence aprons, and addressing any callout fence defects.
Service providers must comply with all relevant Aviation and other applicable laws, rules, policies, and regulations set for the airport. Prior to work, areas of repairs shall be delineated by the service manager. A working order, Permit to Airside, and Permit to Work shall be availed prior to works. All personnel working airside must possess an ACSA permit. The tenderer must also maintain required insurances including Construction Plant and Equipment, Common Law Liability/Worker's Compensation, Motor Vehicle Liability, and Public Liability, and comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and Construction Regulations 2014.
