Appointment of a Panel of Contractors (cidb Grade 3ep to 9ep) to Provide Construction Services (electrification, Public Lighting and Capital Projects) to Alfred Duma Local Municipality for a Period of Three Years

The scope of this tender is the appointment of a panel of electrical contractors to provide construction works on low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) electrical network infrastructure, including upgrading, refurbishing, and maintaining network infrastructure and High mast lighting (Public Lighting) on an as-and-when-required basis within the Alfred Duma Local Municipality over a three-year period. This includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of MV and LV cable ABC, associated structures, mini-substations, street lighting, and service connections for low-cost housing, service stands, and informal settlements across the municipality.
Eligibility requires contractors to possess a CIDB Grade of 3EP to 9EP. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and are required to attend a compulsory briefing session, failure of which will invalidate the bid. Additionally, bidders must submit all mandatory documents, including an original and valid Tax Clearance Certificate, proof of address for RDP goals, audited financial statements, and a valid Electrical Contractors registration with the Department of Labour.
