Hire of Office Accommodation

The Department of Public Works & Infrastructure: KwaZulu-Natal invites bids for the hire of office accommodation for the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture: UMkhanyakude District Office – Hluhluwe. The required office space is 426m² plus 25% (106.5m²) non-assignable space, totaling 532.5m² Gross Lettable Area (GLA), with 35 secure parking bays (5 lock-up, 15 undercover, 14 open, and 1 for persons with disabilities). The lease period is for five (5) years.
Bidders must ideally own the property or provide power of attorney if acting on behalf of the owner, along with a certified Title Deed or equivalent proof. The proposed building must have a minimum GLA of 532.5m², be zoned Commercial, Office, or Public, and be located within a 2km radius of the main taxi rank in Hluhluwe. Bidders must also submit a comprehensive maintenance plan, a parking plan for 35 bays, and demonstrate compliance with building support services, fire regulations, occupation certificates, and disability accessibility mandates.
