Construction of Bulk Sewer Lines and Pumpstations for Mokhesi Next to Sterkspruit as Part of the Rbig Project: Sterkspruit Wastewater Treatment Works and Associated Bulk Infrastructure

The tender is for the construction of bulk sewer lines and pump stations for Mokhesi, next to Sterkspruit, as part of the RBIG project: Sterkspruit Wastewater Treatment Works and associated bulk infrastructure. This regional bulk infrastructure project involves upgrading bulk sewerage in Sterkspruit, Tapoleng, Mokhesi, and Esilindini, focusing on constructing bulk gravity pipelines, two pump stations, river and road crossings, and pressure pipelines to connect the Mokhesi area to the wastewater treatment works. The project was re-tendered after a previous contractor failed to complete it.
Suitably qualified and experienced contractors are invited to tender. Bidders must achieve a minimum of 73 out of 100 points for functionality criteria to be considered responsive. A CIDB contractor grading of 7CE PE or higher is required. Joint ventures are eligible if every member is CIDB registered, and the lead partner has an 8CE or higher grading. All bidders must be registered on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD) and must not have municipal rates and taxes in arrears for more than three months. Compulsory attendance at a briefing session is required.
