Scope of Work
The Greater Kokstad Municipality invites proposals from reputable Service Providers for the upgrading of underground MV cables (Phase 7). The scope of work includes the replacement of 4012M of faulty MV cable from the Main Substation to Jimpayne Substation, 700M between CNR Hawthorne & Barclay to CNR Hawthorne & Wylde Road, and 2140M from the Central Substation to Jimpayne Substation. The project must be completed within 12 months from the date of appointment, and all material is to carry a minimum one-year warranty.
Eligible bidders must possess a CIDB Grading of 6EP or higher. Only service providers who achieve a minimum of 60 points for functionality in the evaluation process will qualify for further stages. Bidders are required to submit various returnable documents, including CSD reports, proof of municipal rates and taxes clearance, SARS Tax Pin, and other mandatory forms.
