Scope of Work
The Department of Transport (DOT) requires a service provider for the maintenance, procurement, delivery, replacement, installation, and commissioning of existing and new electronic security systems (CCTV, alarm and intercom systems, Access Control System, X-Ray machines, walkthrough metal detectors) at the National Department of Transport for a period of 36 months. This includes preventative and corrective maintenance, call-outs, and new installations/upgrades to ensure system reliability and minimize risk exposure.
Bidders must comply with the mandatory requirements outlined in the bid documents, including the submission of all required SBD forms, a valid tax clearance certificate/PIN, a CSD report, and a valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate or sworn affidavit. Bidders must also adhere to the two-envelope submission system, and failure to meet any mandatory requirement will lead to disqualification. PSIRA compliance and 100% South African ownership/deployment are compulsory.
