Feasibility Study for the Establishment of a Poultry Abattoir Facility

The Sekhukhune District Municipality invites proposals from professional service providers to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study for the establishment of a poultry abattoir facility. The study will assess market demand, environmental impacts, political and economic factors, and identify necessary inputs such as human resources, logistics, and infrastructure. Key deliverables include an Inception Report, Status Quo Analysis Report, Draft Feasibility Study Report, Stakeholder Engagement Report, and a Final Report and Presentation to Council.
Bidders are required to submit a range of administrative and mandatory documents, including a valid Tax Clearance Certificate or PIN, a CSD Summary Report, and various MBD forms. The evaluation process consists of a two-stage approach, where functionality is assessed first, requiring a minimum score of 60 out of 100 points to proceed. Successful bidders from the functionality stage will then be evaluated based on price and specific preference goals, applying an 80/20 preference point system.
