Scope of Work
The Department of Transport requires a professional security service provider to secure and ensure the safety of departmental resources, including plant, material, and personnel, at various depot and camp maintenance sites within the OR Tambo District. The contract will be for a period of thirty-six (36) months, requiring the provision of 8 Grade B security supervisors and 40 Grade C security guards on a 12-hour shift basis, 7 days a week, along with necessary equipment, patrol vehicles, and internet solutions.
Bidders must be registered on the Centralized Supplier Database (CSD) with a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN and provide proof of current and valid PSIRA registration for the company and all directors/members, including a valid PSIRA Certificate and a letter of good standing. Essential experience includes completing at least one contract valued at R2 million within the last five years, and employing supervisory staff with Grade B PSIRA certification and at least 3 years' post-accreditation experience.
