Provision of Physical Security Services for Three Years

The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) requires physical security and armed response services on a 24/7 basis for a period of three years. Services include escorting VIPs and service providers, protection of personnel, property, and assets, access control, guarding, patrolling of premises, and other security functions as directed by the Security Manager.
Bidders must have a minimum of five years' experience in the security industry, provide three contactable corporate references, and submit signed audited financial statements for the previous financial year. All security officers must be registered with PSIRA (minimum Grade B, Grade A for supervisors/controllers), possess relevant skills and experience for CCTV monitoring (3 years), and operating metal detectors/scanners, and be proficient in English. The service provider must hold valid PSIRA registration and a PSIRA Letter of Good Standing, valid UIF and COIDA letters of good standing, a PSSPF certificate or exemption, an ICASA license or MOU with a radio supplier, current public liability insurance of at least R10 million, certified firearm licenses for five 9mm handguns, and competency certificates for the five employees using firearms.
