Appointment of a Panel of Legal Practitioners for the Rendering of Legal Services for a Contract Period for 3 Years

The Kareeberg Local Municipality invites suitably qualified and experienced legal firms, attorneys, and legal practitioners for appointment to a panel of legal service providers for a three-year contract. The panel will provide professional legal services on an as-and-when-required basis, covering areas such as general municipal law, labour and employment law, civil litigation, commercial and contract law, property and conveyancing law, administrative and constitutional law, environmental and regulatory law, criminal, fraud and forensic matters, and municipal finance and supply chain management matters. Eligible bidders must meet functionality criteria, including demonstrating experience in municipal legal services, professional registration, key personnel expertise, and a sound methodology and capacity, achieving a minimum functionality score of 70 points. Furthermore, bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), possess a valid tax clearance certificate/PIN, and ensure all municipal rates and taxes are current, with no arrears exceeding three months.
