Scope of Work
The Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs seeks to appoint a service provider to assist the Department and Municipalities on municipal electoral matters in preparation for the 2026 Local Government Elections, including processes associated therewith after the announcement of the results.
Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of five years proven experience in providing municipal electoral, governance, demarcation, or related advisory services. Key personnel must possess an appropriate NQF Level 7 qualification or higher in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, Social Sciences, and have at least five years relevant experience in municipal electoral processes or demarcation matters. The service provider must also have excellent communication skills, knowledge of Local Government, an appropriate B Degree, working knowledge at municipal level, in-depth understanding of local government legislation, proven knowledge of electoral processes, and the ability to engage stakeholders.
