Provision of Legal Services Panel

Mintek invites suitably qualified and experienced legal firms to tender for appointment to a panel of external attorneys for a period of three (3) years. The panel will provide specialised legal services on an ad hoc basis across various legal disciplines, including Corporate Governance and Company Secretarial Services, Commercial and Contract Law, Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property and Commercialisation, Employment and Labour Law, and Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Regulatory Compliance. The scope includes legal advice, drafting and reviewing legal documentation, representation, and managing legal matters to support Mintek's strategic, operational, and governance objectives.
Tenderers must be registered on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide their CSD registration number. All prospective bidders must be registered as a legal practice in terms of the Legal Practice Act, 2014, and all attorneys providing services must be admitted legal practitioners in good standing with a valid Fidelity Fund Certificate. Bidders are required to bid for a minimum of at least two (2) service categories and must score a minimum of 70 points for functionality in each applicable category to qualify for further evaluation. A compulsory briefing session attendance is required, for which a Certificate of Attendance will be issued.
