Appointment of a Personal Protection and Tactical Security Service Provider for Site Visits and Investigations of Derelict Holings

The tender seeks a highly trained team to provide personal protection and tactical security services for Mintek personnel during site visits and investigations of derelict holings for a 36-month period. This includes transportation, reconnaissance, intelligence collection, surveillance, proactive disruption, and counterattack roles at various construction sites.
Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury CSD and provide a valid tax compliance status or PIN. Mandatory pre-qualification requires a valid letter of good standing with a compensation fund and a valid PSIRA Letter of Good Standing with the company's PSIRA registration certificate as a Security Service Provider. Bidders must also demonstrate capacity for 2 x PSIRA Grade A Security Supervisors and 8 x PSIRA Grade B Tactical Armed Security Officers, provide proof of ownership/lease for specified escort vehicles (including an armoured vehicle with B4 MIB certificate), and submit DFO registry records for required firearms. Proposals must achieve a minimum of 70 points for functionality to be considered for further evaluation.
