Appointment of a Service Provider for the Supply, Maintenance and Training of a Security Crime Prevention Drone

The Alfred Duma Local Municipality Department Public Safety and Emergency Services requires a service provider for the supply, maintenance, and training related to a security crime prevention drone. This includes providing an enterprise-grade drone with advanced capabilities like thermal cameras, high-resolution zoom, specialized sensors, and gimbal-stabilized cameras for aerial surveillance, real-time video streaming, aerial mapping with GIS analysis, and reporting. The service also covers maintenance and comprehensive training for municipal employees to operate the drone and comply with mandatory certifications.
Bidders must provide a letter of authorization from the drone manufacturer, demonstrate expert technical support with SACAA accreditation, and have undertaken similar work in a Municipality, Private Sector, or Organ of State. PSIRA registration and SACAA accreditation for training are compulsory. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide proof of being located within the Alfred Duma Local municipal area to claim RDP preference points. Failure to attend the compulsory briefing session will invalidate the bid.
