Appointment of a Service Provider for the Provision of Wellness (EAP) Services

The Trans-Caledon Tunnel Authority (TCTA) requires the appointment of a service provider to deliver comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) wellness services to approximately 230 employees for a period of 36 months, commencing in the 2026/27 financial year. The scope of work includes various counselling services (face-to-face, virtual, trauma support, rehabilitation), annual wellness days, executive and manager support programmes, health and wellness awareness sessions, absenteeism and disability management, legal advisory services, workplace conflict resolution, and the provision of digital wellness articles, with services available both virtually and in-person across all provinces.
Bidders must have been in operation for a minimum of five years, providing wellness services within the defined scope to at least four different clients. Key personnel, including a Legal Practitioner, Psychologist, Professional Nurse, Fitness Instructor, and Training Facilitator, must meet specific experience thresholds and relevant professional registration requirements (e.g., Legal Practice Council, HPCSA, SANC, NQF Level 7). The bid will undergo a four-stage evaluation process: Returnable Documents, Functionality (requiring a minimum score of 44 out of 72 points to proceed), Price and B-BBEE, and finally Supplier Vetting.
