Appointment of a Production Company That Will Manage and Implement All Production Services Related to the 20TH Installment of the Annual South African Film and Television Awards (Saftas20)

The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) invites proposals from competent production companies for the management and implementation of all production services related to the 20th South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs20). This encompasses producing the Craft Awards Ceremony, Red Carpet Special, and Main Awards Ceremony (live) in March 2027, delivering a world-class, glamorous, and riveting show with a comprehensive proposal covering concept, stage presentation, set design, proposed hosts, entertainment, budget, social media elements, and wardrobe.
Bidders must submit proposals in a two-envelope system, including one original and a copy on a USB for technical and financial proposals. Mandatory documents, including a valid Tax Clearance Certificate, CSD report, company registration documents, and a B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit, are required. Failure to comply with mandatory document submission or administrative requirements will result in disqualification. Bidders must also achieve a minimum of 70 points in the functionality evaluation (Stage 2) and 20 points in the presentation stage (Stage 3) to proceed to the price and specific goals evaluation.
