Establishment of a Panel of Five (5) Audit Firms to Render Probity Audit Services

This tender seeks to establish a panel of five (5) audit firms to provide probity audit services to the Limpopo Department of Co-operative Governance, Human Settlement and Traditional Affairs (COGHSTA) for the procurement of infrastructure services, goods, and services over a thirty-six (36) month period. The scope includes quality assurance of procurement processes, from specification to adjudication, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, instructions, and best practice principles of openness and transparency.

To be eligible, bidders must be South African companies registered with CIPC and a relevant professional body, demonstrating proven experience in Public Sector Auditing, Governance, and Risk Management through appointment letters or contracts and reference letters. Furthermore, at least one director and the proposed Audit Manager must hold a designation such as Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), Professional Accountant (PA(SA)), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Professional Internal Auditor (PIA), and be registered with the appropriate professional body. Proposed auditors must hold designations like Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Internal Audit Technician (IAT), or Registered Government Auditor (RGA), with proof of professional body registration.
